2nd Semester Final Blog

  • Problem Solving On My Own
    • Last semester, I needed help with almost every problem I had with screens, ink, etc. This semester I did almost all of it on my own
      • The Autism Awareness shirts specifically provided lots of problems I had to get through pretty much on my own. To start, the screen was not perfectly sprayed out so I had to work on it with a clorox wipe for quite some time. Then once I got it working, the ink starting being goopy and difficult. Then the screen started to wear out from the clorox wipes so the ink was seeping through and basically the whole screen had to be taped. Overall it was a very hard project but I got it done with little help.

  • Learned How To Use Vinyl
    • At the beginning of the semester I had no experience with vinyl, but I have been working with it more and I now know how to weed and use the heat press very well. I have learned how to measure out the design so it is even on the shirt and to double-check thoroughly before pressing it on, to make sure that is was weeded correctly. That is why I have the picture of the messed up A. I also included a good shirt and a design i weeded.
